Collaboration with A Work In Progress!

Hi everyone!

I am so excited to announce my collaboration with Vicki of A Work In Progress. We are going to be offering this wonderful kit free in pieces for the next few weeks and then it will be placed in our shops. This great kit is pack full of 20 different papers (5 solids, 14 patterned and 1 mat) along with 1 full alpha and 23 unique elements. My Sweet Sweet Song Challenge Kit Released on Sale!

Good morning all....

Its that time again. I have done another "My Sweet, Sweet Song" challenge kit for you all. It is called "Serenity" and is perfect for the "Beautifully Made" theme of the challenge.... here are all the details.

You are a treasure of the Lord. He created you and you are precious in his sight. We all are beauifully made by a loving God, who created us "in his own image". As women, we bear God's image in a special way. In the book "Captivating" by John & Stasi Eldredge, they share this insight, "and so the journey to discover what God meant when he created woman in his image - when he created you as his woman - that journey begins with your heart." Do you believe deep down in your heart that you are a treasure, that you are precious?

The King is enthralled by your beauty. - Psalm 45:11

And let not your adornment be merely external -- braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God. -1Peter 3:3-4

But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD look at the heart: -1Samuel 16:7

From these passages, we can see that true beauty, inner beauty, comes from the heart. This is how God sees us. While we may all wish to change something about our outer appearance, until we can see ourselves as God sees us, we will never be satisfied. My dear sister, open your eyes of your heart and see the truth. You are beautiful!

Is there a song that reminds you that you are a beautiful creation of the Lord? Maybe there is a song that awakens your heart and soul and makes you feel so alive that you can't help but dance? Or maybe there is someone in your life that needs to know just how beautiful they are and you would love to share a song with them? I hope you will join us this month in creating a layout inspired by your favorite songs. Below are a few songs I thought fit this topic, but feel free to share any song that you feel drawn too.

Charity Collaboration and Freebie

Hi there everyone!

Today I get to bring you information about a wonderful Charity Collaboration that I have been honored to be part of. The kit is called "Spring Brings Hope" and was designed to benefit Jenna K of MN.

Jenna's Story:

Jenna was diagnosed in Dec 2009 with Post Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disorder, a form of Cancer caused by the anti-rejection medications she recieved following her transplant. She recieved a liver transplant in 1997 when she was only 7 yrs old. Jenna is now home from her first semester of college Bemidij State University in MN to recieve rigorous chemotherapy for the next 6 mths.

100% of the proceeds of this collaboration will be given to Jenna to help cover her medical expenses. Nine Designers have come together to bring you this fun spring kit. These Designers have donated 68 papers, 93 elements, 1 full alpha, and two 12x12 quick pages.

Hosting Template Challenge at Faith Sisters

Hi, everyone! I am hosting this week's Thursday Template Challenge over at Faith Sisters. I would love to have each and every one of you join in on this challenge. Remember that even though this is a digital challenge and we will have digital prizes, paper scrappers are welcome and encouraged to play along by using the template as a sketch to guide your layout. Both digital and paper scrappers are always welcome to participate in all of our challenges.

With Thanksgiving coming up around the corner (I know this is an American Holiday... but anyone can participate in this challenge),we all have someone or something we are thankful for; so, this week's template challenge will I want you to scrap about what you are thankful for! I've created both a 12x12 template in PSD and PNG formats that can be used in this challenge.
