It is the first of December and this holiday season is in full swing. I hope you all slow down enough to enjoy it and not scurry around so much. It is time to move on out of Faith Sisters as I have started my new adventure with With Love Studio.  I want to thank everyone who has supported me through out the last several years as I built my business at Faith Sisters.  I hope that you all will continue to support me at my new shop as well.  From Dec 1st through Dec 16th, you can pick up any of my designs at Faith Sisters for only $1.  After the shop is closed, many of the designs (especially the collaborations) will NOT be available.

Cyber Monday and a look into December

I hope you had a great weekend of shopping for the holidays!  As you know, today is cyber monday and the deals are still rolling at my shops.  45% off everything at Daisies & Dimples and 50% off everything at With Love Studios.  My Faith Sisters shop isn't on sale just yet as I have something super special coming up for that!

Black Friday and Deals Aglore

Hi everyone!

I hope that you had a fabulous Thanksgiving (if you celebrate)!  Now that your bellies are full and hopefully you got a little nap, its time for some shopping.  Not sure if you will be out braving the early bird specials or not but for me the specials are going on all weekend long! My newest shop, With Love Studio, is having a 50% off sale all weekend long including my newest releases. All the Designers will have their shops at 50% off so it will definately be something you wont want to miss out on.

And these are my new releases for the weekend!  Ballroom Blitz was created for a fan who was in need of a "ballroom" type kit so scrap some photos of her and her darling husband as they had been taking ballroom dancing classes.  Though it is the theme, you can definately scrap almost anything you would like.  I have updated and quality checked the kit since its original release a while ago so it is ready for you to dance along with.

Thankful Word Art is just that.... all about thankfullness and giving thanks.  We all have those layouts that just need a final touch, what could be better than a "thankful" saying to finish it off.

Lovely Weekend Releases

Good Friday everyone!

I hope you are starting your weekend off right as I am with a new release sale of 30% off of 3 products just added to my With Love Studio Shop.  I am running a little behind as things are extremely busy and stressful in my life right now but I wanted you all to see what I am releasing and what the wonderful CT members have created.

Happy My Day was created last April inspired by my own birthday and too few of grownup birthday kits.

Bring on the Music was created for a challenge from Faith Sisters but I felt that it still has meaning for so many different layouts.

Finally, Gather Together is a kit that I created a while back and decided that this is the perfect time to bring it back as Thanksgiving is right around the corner.

Happy Veterans Day!

Hi Everyone!

Before I start - I want to THANK all the military, military spouses and their families for all that you give and do for us in this country.  Being a military spouse myself, I know what you do on a daily basis and again THANK YOU!
I hope you all have a fabulous DSD weekend!  It was a great opening at my new shop at With Love Studios.  We had some amazing challenges going as well as the introduction to some outstanding Designers.  I know some of you were busy trying to get all the goodies, sales and playing games at your normal hang outs but I really think you should swing by With Love Studios to check us out.  We are not going to be into full swing with the challenges until December but we have added a couple more Designers who will be announcing their new shops this weekend and I have a new special called "New Release Fridays".  Seeing this shop has barely anything and I have a lot of kits in the works as well as a lot of retired kits I would love to update, I am going to try to release 2 kits per week, at least for the next couple months.  With "New Release Fridays", I will introduce you to my 2 new products as well as offer them on sale for 30% off until Sunday night.  Here are my first 2 kits included in this new promotion..... Elegance - a brand new kit inspired by the colors of our opening weekend color speed scrap challenge and Baby Hoo Remix - one of my very first kits remixed and updated as well as qc'd.  I hope you swing on over and pick them up while they are on sale!

Digiscrap Forum Blog Train

Good day everyone!

Yeah I remembered to post this before someone contacted me and told it wasn't up.... Yippee!!!  Ok so this month our "theme" was spring and we were given some beautiful spring colors.  I had a very hard time getting inspired by this but when I did, it just kept going and I think it came out really nicely.  I hope you like it and enjoy the other parts of the train as well.  Don't forget... we all love to get some comments!!!

Some of you might notice the new changes to my packaging... hmmmmm.  I am getting ready to open up a new shop in a brand new store.  We will be opening our doors on the 4th so be on the look out for games, prizes and FREEBIES!!  Can't give you anymore information but it is a beautiful store with lots of great designers.

Final Round of Design Quest at Scrapping FairyTales

Good Day Everyone!
I hope you are having a great weekend!  Been a little crazy around here with our tempatures but we are mustering through it.  I have finally finished the final challenge at the Design Quest.... this one was a very hard challenge for me as I could not come up with an inspiration to get me going until yesterday while making caramel apple cupcakes for my son's class party.  For this challenge, we had to come up with an inspiration, turn that into an inspiration board to show our process of designing the kit, then create a brush.  On top of this, we had to use our brush on 1 paper, create 1 plain paper and then 3 others that convey our theme.... then we had to create 12 elements, besides our brush, 1 tag, 1 frame, 1 fastener, 1 ribbon/string, and at least 1 item using our brush... then 7 other unique elements.  I ended up using my brush quite a bit and it was pretty easy creating my own brush.  Had I known how easy, I probaly would have been making some.... so be on the look out for them in the future.
Here is my inspiration board which all started with the "apple" then the palette from rottencupcakes.com and finally some google searching (finding the cute idea of owls). 

Here is my final product from all my brainstorming....
